CHESS AT THE STREETS OF NASHIK. WEEK- 2
Hello Everyone,
Like the last Sunday, We arranged Chess at Happy Street, Nashik near Sagar Sweets, Govind Nagar. This time We came with the Different Theme - Bullet Chess. The Motto was To Create Curiosity and Excitement within the Nashikkars and I'm Happy to State that We Succeeded in our Motto. This is the First time in Maharashtra that Chess Came to the Road and Became an Outdoor Game. Many Young Children and their Parents Enquired about the Coaching, Tournaments and Opportunities in Chess. Dr. Ravindra Singal, Commissioner of Police Visited our Desk and Showed some Chess Skills by Playing the Game. He Appreciated our Efforts and Gave Compliments to Us. He Stated that- In Police Department We require not only the Physical Fitness but We Mental Fitness too. and Chess is Game that Keeps our Brain Sharp.
We got Overwhelming Response this time. Approximately 160 People Visited us and 130 Players Played the Game against Raising Stars of Nashik- Ganesh Tajane, Akhilesh Nagare, Vedant Amdekar, Arya Bahalkar and Omkar Sambare. Awareness of Chess is Increasing in Nashik and Such Events will Boost the Chess, and I'm Sure that the City of GM Vidit Gujarathi will Become a Factory of Chess Players in Coming Years. I'm thankful to Dr. Singal Sir for the Encouragement, Mr. Milind Kulkarni for his Valuable Help.
